Inks for the what will be the first complete picture of Tip’ti, a disabled young Lakayan woman. Those ‘robot legs’ are actually an extremely advanced exoskeleton system that allows her to walk. Unfortunately its not perfect, so Tip’ti has had to give up her dreams of becoming a professional dancer after an accident. She’s since moved on to become a robotics engineer (along with a laundry list of other skills) but sometimes in low gravity environments will take a moment to dance like she used to.
Tip’ti, the Lakayah, and the art belong to me.

Hurray for saving old ideas! This is a re-draw/fix of a sketch of Rinya from a year or two back. So if this looks familiar that’s why.
Might need more spiders. (And apologies if they freak anyone out, I tried to tag appropriately to spare folks who are afraid of ‘em.)
Quick sketched portrait of Bojack Horseman, from the Netflix series of the same name. At first I ignored the show; it just looked like another ‘Family Guy’ from its advertising. But a friend introduced me to it, and to say I liked it was an under statement. I don’t think I’ve seen a show like it before, and its 11th episode is one of the best of any series animated or not I’ve ever seen.
So I recommend giving it a go. :)

"Im sorry but black people cant be elves because black people arent beautiful or good"
Please tell me this anon is fucking joking.
Poc can’t be pure apparently
This is something a friend of mine actually said to my face while I was talking about diversity in books the other day. I really don’t understand how people could think it’s strange for a fictional mythical creature to have darker skin. If it’s about staying close to the original, then why do they think it’s fine for vampires to walk out in the sun? Why do they use Tolkien as a source instead of the original elves? And if it’s about beauty and purity… how can they not see how racist they are? How blinded can they be by their own hateful delusions?
I hope the anon trips and falls into a pile of wet shit for their disgusting, racist delusions
like seriously I don’t even have a longwinded educational comeback for that they’re just disgusting fucking hell ew anon I wish upon you allergies to everything and a rash in your privates
And I hope you know how ugly and impure and dirty you are
I wish your kind didn’t exist, anon, but here we are
I feel dirty just looking at your comment
My skin is crawling
Bask in the apparent “impurity” of my PoC elves you shitstain-anon
Impure and “unethereal” my ass
elves are elves, people are people, “pure white skin” or not. in fact, we need more dark skinned elves to add to this - i suggest others add their own art too.
I think Jariat would like to have a word with the OP. Alright perhaps several, and they’d be quite rude.
If your imagination is so limited that every idea can only have one face, that’s sad enough. When you blend in an appalling amount of racism, its downright depressing, and hideous.

Lucky: “N-no one, thank you. While I may have met many individuals I found distasteful on my journeys I don’t wish any of them dead, much less am I willing to become a murderer, consequences or no.”
Now out of character answers. Lucky doesn’t do particularly well or particularly poorly when deprived of rest, but does reverie four hours a day short of extenuating circumstances. If she feels safe she’ll change into a nightgown but otherwise just remains in her robes. Usually Lucky will just sit to mediate, but if particularly exhausted will sprawl out.
There are quite a few foods Lucky enjoys, and she would be hard pressed to name a favorite. But a nice salad with grilled steak on top wouldn’t go amiss.
This was not remotely what I was supposed to be doing today. Oh well, self restraint another time.
Inspired by a random image, a potential redesign for Tip’ti the Lakayah. (The Lakayah are a species of cheetah anthro I’ve been developing, I’ll be writing up some stuff about them soon.)
An aspiring dancer Tip’ti was involved in an accident in her teen years that lost her the use of her legs. Fortunately Lakayan medical technology has allowed her to walk again, with the aid of an advanced exoskeleton system, but under normal conditions dancing is clumsy at best. She’s become a medical engineer instead, but sometimes when Tip’ti is alone in a low to no gravity environment she’ll dance like she used to.
I may reblog this at a saner hour tomorrow. I sleep now. x_x
